After fitment, the boxes can be relocated to any area on the raised floor, provided sufficient flexible lead length is allowed for during installation.
For our PM range, the frame & trap are manufactured from fire retardant ABS material while for our AF range, the frame is of one piece diecast aluminium which boasts of better loading capability. The trap itself is riveted with a load plate which has a 7mm recess suitable for floor carpet finish. The load plate is manufactured from 3mm GI sheet steel hence reinforces the loading capability of the service box. Base boxes are pre-punched with 20/25mm knockout for connecting flexible conduit.
Adjustable mounting brackets are supplied as kit to prevent slippage of boxes and provide rigidity and loading capacity to the floor box. It provides firm fixing of the floor box tile. Three adjustable levels are provided, to accomodate various thickness of raised floor tile.
Our boxes are 250mm square for PM range, other dimensions are available in AF range.
